Wartortle #008 MGC 8 1996 Japanese Pokémon Poker Set Green

1996 Pokémon Japanese Wartortle #008 – Poker Set Green – MGC 8

A fantastic piece of early Pokémon memorabilia featuring Wartortle from the 1996 Japanese Pokémon Poker Set – Green.

Unlike a traditional Pokémon TCG card, this is a Pokémon Poker Set playing card, featuring Wartortle with a 4 of Hearts designation. The reverse displays the distinctive green Pokémon design featuring Venusaur, adding to its nostalgic appeal.

Graded MGC 8, this is a particularly interesting collectible for fans of early Japanese Pokémon merchandise and unusual pre-/early-TCG-era Pokémon cards.

All cards are photographed individually and the exact card shown in the listing is the card you will receive.

About the Grade

MGC (Mavin Grading Company) is an emerging grading service gaining traction in the collector community. An MGC 8 (Near Mint–Mint) indicates a card in strong condition with only light handling wear — a solid grade for vintage items such as this 1996 Japanese Poker Set card. MGC-graded cards are authenticated and sealed in a tamper-evident case.
